Date & Time

Friday, September 23, 2022 - 6pm start for the 1/2 Mile Kids Dash and 6:15pm start for the 2 Mile Run/Walk. Raffle drawing / race awards at approximately 7:15pm. Pancake breakfast takes place the next day, Saturday, September 24 at the Rec Center until 11am. The 2 FREE beer tickets given to participants over the age of 21 may be used anytime after the race for the remainder of the Fest.

Race and Charity Info

Join us as Kopf Running presents the 4th Annual Huntley Fall Fest Run and Kids Dash as part of Huntley Fall Fest on Friday, Sept. 23rd, 2022! This year's event will include a sunset 2 mile run/walk on Friday night instead of the 5K on Saturday morning. We hope you enjoy this new structure to our race!

The race will once again benefit Action for Healthy Kids (AFHK), an organization committed to mobilizing school professionals, families and communities to take actions that lead to healthy eating, physical activity and healthier schools where kids thrive. Right here in Northern Illinois, in the school districts in our area benefit from the programs put into place by AFHK and its volunteers! AFHK helps create healthier schools by bringing all the members of a school community together and equipping them with the tools and resources they need to make change happen. The organization strives to take care of all the health aspects of children- physical, nutritional, and psychological. At the event and during online registration, we are collecting monetary donations for the AFHK (proceeds from entry fees also go to the organization)!

Location of Start / Finish Area & Parking

Betsey Warrington Park, 12209 West Main Street, Huntley, IL 60142. Run/Walk and Kids Dash will begin near the pavilion of the park. However, all participants will park in the lots directly behind (West) of the Huntley Rec Center and walk between the two baseball fields and over Lois Lane to the pavilion for the pre race festivities and packet pick up. Please allow enough time for this short walk across the field. Volunteers will be on-site directing parking.

Packet Pick Up & Race Day Registration

Packet Pick Up :
- Friday, September 23rd from 3-5:45pm at the Betsey Warrington Park Pavilion (12209 West Main Street, Huntley, IL 60142). Parking is available directly next to the pavilion for packet pick up ONLY - race day parking info is above.
- You MAY pick up someone else's packet by giving the packet pick up volunteer the other person's first and last name.
Race Day Registration :
- Available at Betsey Warrington Park Shelter (12209 West Main Street, Huntley, IL 60142 -- see above regarding parking) on Friday, September 24 from 3-5:45pm. Cash or check only accepted.

Other Information

Run/Walk participants must be 5 years or older, and Kids Dash participants must be 12 months or older. All participants under the age of 18 years must have a parent register them via online or in person registration.

Strollers are welcome. No rollerblades, scooters, or roller-skates. No pets please. Walkers and participants with strollers please start in the back.
